SAGAMORE HILLS, Ohio (WOIO) - A 20-year-old South Euclid man was indicted in connection with a fatal shooting in Sagamore Hills this past May.
Allen Lamar Phillips was indicted on one count of involuntary manslaughter and 10 counts relating to the possession and trafficking in drugs.
Sagamore Hills police said Phillips shot and killed Adam Lempner on May 14 on Carlin Road.
Sagamore Hills Police Chief David Hayes said Lempner got into the rear seat of a car driven by Phillips and numerous shots were fired.
Witnesses told police, Lempner’s body was then dragged out of the car.
He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Chief Hayes said the car was located a short time after the shooting at North Coast Behavioral Health in Sagamore Hills.
