A "controlling and immature" boyfriend made months of death threats to a woman as their relationship broke down. Jordan Evans posted photos of weapons on social media and told his ex-partner: "I swear on my mother's grave, if you're talking to anyone else, I'll stab you."

Teesside Crown Court has heard that the 27-year-old accused the woman of being unfaithful when he was with her - stating: "Whoever's at yours, I'm going to kill." Evans was a "controlling partner" who constantly accused his partner of being unfaithful, Ian Windridge, prosecuting, told the court.

The woman was so scared she left her home with her children, as the threats continued for 18-months. She now suffers PTSD from the ordeal.
