ELLOREE, S.C. — Voters in the town of Elloree will soon decide who will serve as their next mayor, with three candidates on the ballot: Barbara J. Butler, Allen Reeves, and James Kelly Ulmer.
Reeves said his campaign centers on growing Elloree’s economy.
“One of my stated goals is to make an environment that’s more attractive to businesses so we can bring in more restaurants, more entertainment, more shopping, to really increase that foot traffic and raise the economic level of Elloree,” Reeves said.
Ulmer, who currently serves on the town council, shared a written statement saying he hopes to continue building on the town’s progress by improving infrastructure, drainage, and public safety. In his statement, Ulmer said, “Elloree is not just where I live, it is the home I love.”
