In a key development, Director General of the National Security Guard (NSG), Brighu Srinivasan, called on Manipur Governor, Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan, Imphal, on Monday and briefed him on the NSG’s preparedness and operational capabilities. The meeting also focused on the overall security situation in the state, which has been grappling with ethnic unrest since May 2023.
