BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge man says he’s lucky to be alive after being shot during what police believe was a road rage attack.
The man, who asked not to be identified for safety reasons, said someone opened fire on his car nearly a dozen times while he was driving home from work Friday, Oct. 24, along South Choctaw Drive.
“For someone to blatantly shoot up a vehicle with no regard for human life like that… that’s the shocking part,” he said.
The victim told WAFB’s Perry Robinson he had just finished a grass-cutting job and was heading home when he had to stop abruptly at a light because of oncoming traffic. Once traffic began to move, that’s when he says the driver behind him pulled alongside his car and started shooting.
