HARTFORD COUNTY, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police believe that four recent gas station burglaries in three towns across Hartford County may be connected.
Of the four locations hit, two were in Simsbury. At one Pride gas station in town, the thieves made their way into the ATM. The clerk told News 8 that they stole around $5,000.
In Farmington, three masked men pulled up to a gas station in a dark blue Volvo, broke in and ripped the ATM out of the wall using their vehicle. They then raced off with the ATM in the vehicle. Police said a dark blue Volvo was also used in the two burglaries in Simsbury and may have been used at a gas station burglary in South Windsor.
