NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Over the last several years, adult changing stations have been added to public spaces all across Middle Tennessee.
Metro Councilmembers are now pushing for them in a new location. And they’re not stopping there.
A resolution is being considered by the Metro Council to add adult changing tables in the Green Hills Branch of the Nashville Public Library.
The resolution would approve a $10,000 grant application from the Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging for the table. Green Hills Regional Library Manager Heidi Berg was approached by several patrons who requested that the library install an adult changing table.
For District 34 Metro Council member Sandy Ewing, the resolution is a personal one. She has a niece who’s physically disabled, and she believes
