Jennifer Lawrence thinks having kids is "sacrificial".

The 35-year-old actress - who has Cy, three, and a son called Louie who was born earlier this year - has opened up about her struggles with postpartum depression, explaining that motherhood is "not not sacrificial".

Speaking to the New York Times newspaper, Jennifer explained: "Having kids is sacrificial. It’s gratifying and it’s amazing and rewarding, but it’s not not sacrificial.

"I’d never had to say no to something before that I really wanted to do."

Jennifer actually felt "vain and selfish" at one point in time, because she wanted to continue her acting career while her family were all at home.
