The air quality in Delhi continued to remain in the ‘very poor’ category on Tuesday, with the Air Quality Early Warning System (EWS) reporting an overall AQI of 309.

Monitoring stations across the capital recorded pollution levels in the ‘severe’ range, crossing the 400-mark. According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) at 7 am, some of the most polluted areas included Wazirpur (403), Jahangirpuri (402), and Bawana (396).

Amid the worsening air conditions, a video posted by a foreign visitor named Shane is doing rounds on the Internet. Having travelled from Agra to Delhi , Shane described the alarming change in visibility as he approached the capital.
