GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro woman is devastated after someone stole five of her puppies from her home.
Police say the break-in happened in the Fielding Place area a little over a week ago.
Maria Patricia Zuluaga said she was out of the country caring for her sick mother when someone broke into her home.
She said her landlord alerted her about the break-in.
Zuluaga said her two friends, one of them she’s known for 20 years, were helping care for the puppies while she was away.
Police say the thieves took one 4-month-old French Bulldog puppy and four 8-week-old Yorkie puppies.
She said the ordeal has left her feeling depressed.
