WASHINGTON — On Thursday, a judge sentenced six people involved in a fatal 2021 Labor Day shooting that killed three people in Northwest.
On Oct. 30, three of the defendants were sentenced to over 100 years in prison for their participation in the conspiracy of the shooting and the roles each person played. Erwin Dubose, Kamar Queen, Damonta Thompson, William Johnson Lee, and Mussay Rezene, all of Washington, D.C., and Toyia Johnson, of Rockville, MD, were sentenced on 27 felony charges.
Dubose was sentenced to 123 years, Queen was sentenced to 120 years, and Johnson Lee was sentenced to 105 years. Thompson was sentenced to 35 years for his participation in setting up the shooting and driving his co-defendants to and from the shooting. Rezene was sentenced to three years for accessor
