Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones indicated that he could make another blockbuster trade ahead of Tuesday’s 4:00 p.m. deadline.
On Monday, Jerry Jones stated that the Cowboys had completed a trade for a player from an unnamed team. Jones wouldn’t offer any further details, only noting that more trades could be coming.
But after losing 27-17 to the Kyler Murray-less Arizona Cardinals on Monday night, fans are wondering if Jones has changed his trade deadline plans. At 3-5-1, the Cowboys are a giant longshot to make the playoffs now.
Speaking to reporters after the game, however, Jerry Jones emphasized that the loss to Arizona will not affect his trade deadline plans, per NFL Network’s Clayton Holloway.
“There is one trade I can do. And I am leaning towards doing it,” Jones said.
