Social media detectives think they’ve uncovered the mystery of the big-name player that Jerry Jones traded for.
On Monday, Jerry Jones stated that the Dallas Cowboys completed a trade for a player, but he wouldn’t reveal the name. The polarizing owner and GM also indicated that Dallas could make more deals before Tuesday’s trade deadline.
The Cowboys have one of the league’s best offenses but a bottom-five defense, so Dallas fans can only hope that he made a move for a notable defensive player. Then again, it would be very Jones-like to hype up a trade that was anything but a blockbuster.
Well, Cowboys fans might want to pay some attention here. There’s speculation circulating that the player joining America’s Team is Miami Dolphins All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.
