NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A great stretch of early November weather is on the way with plenty of sunshine, mild afternoons, and a slow warm-up as we head toward the end of the week.
Tuesday will be just about perfect, with highs in the low to mid-70s under mostly sunny skies and light winds. It will be a chilly morning with lows around 40 north and upper 40s to low 50s south.
By Wednesday and Thursday, a weak southerly breeze starts to kick in, pulling in a touch more warmth and humidity. That means afternoon highs will climb into the upper 70s to near 80°, and mornings won’t be quite as cold — more in the 50s instead of the 40s.
We’ll also start to see a few clouds increase late in the week as moisture creeps back in off the Gulf. Some spotty showers will be possible by Friday but nothing h
