Theft: SOM Center Road

A man stole a vacuum cleaner and other items from Target Oct. 28 and fled in his vehicle, but an employee recognized him from TikTok and located his profile on the website.

Officers arrested the South Euclid man, 25, at his home a short time later for the $791 theft.

He claimed that he forgot to pay because he was distracted by the news of a family member suffering a medical emergency.

A man was found passed out at the wheel of his vehicle near the ATM at Key Bank around 4 p.m. Oct. 28.

He said he was very tired and must have fallen asleep.

He gave consent for officers to search his vehicle. They located multiple hypodermic needles, an unknown brown substance and other drug paraphernalia.
