Suzlon Energy delivered a milestone performance in the second quarter of FY26, posting its highest quarterly profit in three decades. The renewable energy solutions provider reported a 538% year-on-year surge in consolidated profit after tax (excluding exceptional items) to Rs 1,279 crore.

Revenue from operations jumped 85% year-on-year to Rs 3,866 crore, supported by strong execution in the wind turbine generator (WTG) segment and higher deliveries. Operating performance remained robust, with EBITDA rising 145% year-on-year to Rs 721 crore and profit before tax increasing 179% to Rs 562 crore. The sharp rise in PAT was aided by the recognition of Rs 717 crore in incremental deferred tax assets during the quarter.
