Aided by revenues from Wind Turbine Generators and deferred tax gains, the net profit of Suzlon Energy Ltd rose six times to ₹1,279 crore during the second quarter of financial year 2025-26.
The Revenue from operations of the company rose 85 per cent year-on-year to ₹3,865 crore during the quarter. Revenues from Wind Turbine Generators more than doubled to ₹3,240 crore, while that from foundry and forging business rose by 46 per cent to ₹121 crore. The income from operation and maintenance services also grew by two per cent to ₹575 crore.
The company stated that an Incremental Deferred Tax Assets (DTA) of ₹717 crore has been recognised in the second quarter which resulted in a Profit After Tax of ₹1,279 crore.
