LAKEMORE, Ohio — A 34-year-old man died early Monday morning after he was stabbed multiple times during an altercation inside a residence, police say.

Thomas T. Hyatt, a Lakemore resident, was found dead by first responders just after 12:30 a.m. in a home on the 1500 block of Lake Road, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.

A news release from the Lakemore Police Department says the stabbing occurred at a residence on the 2500 block of Frank Street. Hyatt managed to make it back to his home on Lake Road before he collapsed and died, authorities say.

Police say they have interviewed everyone involved with the incident, but did not release additional details. It’s unclear if an arrest has been made, but police say there is no danger to the public.
