Police have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed in the Orange CBD.

Detectives from Central West Police District have commenced inquiries into the stabbing of a 20-year-old man which took place at about 2.40am on Sunday, November 2 in Lords Place.

Police were notified and attended the scene.

Following their arrival they established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.

As inquiries continue, anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Orange Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police confirmed that as of November 4, no arrests have been made in relation to the attack.
