The SUNY Morrisville campus is on lockdown and all evening classes are canceled after one person was shot at the Madison County college on Monday, Nov. 3.
New York State Police confirmed they are investigating a shooting that occurred on the campus earlier this afternoon with assistance from SUNY Morrisville University Police.
"All evening classes on the Morrisville campus have been cancelled," a notice on the school's website said as of 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 3. "Students in classes currently are required to remain in place."

At approximately 3:45 p.m., state police responded to South Hall on the SUNY Morrisville campus, which is located about an hour southeast of Syracuse, following a report of a person shot, according to state police.
