The Scotland Amputee Football National Team has been crowned Group D champions of the European Amputee Football Nations League following a stunning unbeaten run in Bucharest over the weekend (October 21 to November 2. 
Scotland delivered commanding victories over Kosovo (4-0), Albania (12-0) and hosts Romania (4-0), demonstrating the remarkable progress made since the sport’s inception in Scotland in 2017, while securing the team’s promotion to Division C. 
Team captain Michael Lennon of East Kilbride led the squad throughout the competition which is run by the European Amputee Football Federation, guiding Scotland to three clean sheets as the team’s attacking prowess overwhelmed their opponents. 
However, the tournament’s standout performer was 17-year-old Scotland
