SOLON, Ohio --
Suspicious person: Charmwood Oval
At 6:30 p.m. Oct. 31, an officer was patrolling Charmwood Oval during Solon’s Halloween trick-or-treat hours. Meanwhile, at the same time, a second officer, who was off-duty, was also on the street and noticed a man walking on Charmwood.
After the officer in the car rode by, the man began to run towards a wooded area.
The off-duty officer called to report the suspicious action to police. The patrolman then saw the man running towards a Charmwood Oval home.
Officers reported to that home, located in the 3200 block of Charmwood, and found the man hiding in the garage.
The suspect, a Cleveland man, 26, was found to be wanted on a Solon police warrant for failure to appear in court for a traffic offense. He was arrested without further inc
