DELHI TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS) - One man's Halloween trash is a flock of sheep's treasure.
Now that Halloween is over, you don't have to let your pumpkins go to waste. Delhi Township is accepting pumpkin donations for sheep to eat.
These sheep live on the Township's wastewater treatment plant and keep the grass under control. People can bring their leftover jack-o'-lanterns to the Delhi Township Recycling Center on Grovenburg Road, and on day one of accepting donations, there were already dozens of pumpkins.
The Berenter family contributed to the pumpkin pile, donating some really cool carvings. Aaron Berenter said Halloween is a big deal for the family.
"I tend to go all out," said Aaron.
