Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has made three trades in six days, adding depth at cornerback and edge rusher with the acquisitions of cornerback Jaire Alexander , slot cornerback Michael Carter II and pass rusher Jaelan Phillips .
Roseman could make a few more moves before the NFL trade deadline at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Eagles acquired Carter last Wednesday from the New York Jets, Alexander on Saturday night from the Baltimore Ravens and Phillips on Monday morning from the Miami Dolphins.
Phillips, a 26-year-old pass rusher, will be the Eagles’ biggest midseason acquisition. The trade cost the team a 2026 third-round pick: That is a hefty price tag for an injury-prone player who tore his Achilles tendon in 2023 and his ACL in 2024. The fifth-year edge rusher has finished
