The governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu today paid a daylong visit to the Kailasahar town, headquarter of Unakoti district, and took part in various programmes. Sources from Kailasahar said that the governor had arrived at Kailasahar around 10-00 in the morning today and took rest in the circuit house before heading for bordering areas to see the condition of –people.
He was accompanied by the DM (Unakoti) Tamal Majumder, secretary of the state government Uttam Kumar Chakma, SP (Unakoti) Sudhambika and other officials and local representatives of people. The governor visited the ‘Chaturdash Debta’ temple in bordering Khaorabil village and offered worship there. He also visited a number of bordering villages and spoke to the people there.
