SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)- The Caddo Sheriff's Department is renting two facilities one on N. Market and the other on Corporate Drive. Both facilities are being leased, the North Market location alone is costing over eight thousand dollars a month and that will soon double to over sixteen thousand a month at the end of December.

The department is also responsible for maintenance and property taxes.

Sheriff Henry Whitehorn presented a video which showed many leaks in the roof and water damage. Caddo Commissioner Stormy Gage- Watts said, "What you presented today showed us the conditions that building is actually in and the hazard that it is for our first responders who defiantly deserve a more responsible and respectable place."
