Holly Willoughby has emerged as a frontrunner to replace Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman on Strictly Come Dancing . The ex-This Morning presenter, 44, is the latest name touted for the BBC programme's hosting roles following confirmation that Tess and Claudia will be departing by year's end.

Former BBC One Controller Peter Fincham revealed to the Daily Mail's Richard Eden's Eden Confidential column: "My hairdresser also cuts the hair of a well-known channel controller. What's said in Harry's the hairdresser stays in Harry's. But he says with great confidence that Holly Willoughby will take over."

Holly departed her long-standing role on This Morning in 2023. She has maintained her public profile by presenting ITV's Dancing On Ice and has also hosted Netflix reality
