The Dallas Cowboys are bringing in a veteran linebacker to try to help improve their inconsistent defense.
Dallas has traded for Bengals captain Logan Wilson, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport .
The move comes a day after Cowboys owner Jerry Jones acknowledged that there was a trade that he could make and said that he was “leaning toward doing it.”
Logan Wilson should help a Cowboys defense that currently ranks 31st in yards per game and points per game allowed.
A former Wyoming star, Wilson has recorded at least 100 tackles in four consecutive seasons, including last year when he finished with 104, despite missing seven games. He has 46 tackles through eight games in 2025.
