2NEWARK, N.J. – U.S. Attorney Alina Habba announced that her office, in coordination with the FBI, will actively investigate and prosecute any criminal activity related to the upcoming general election, pledging a zero-tolerance approach to voter intimidation, fraud, or interference.

Habba said the U.S. Attorney’s Office will respond to all complaints involving violations of federal election laws, including efforts to intimidate or bribe voters, buy or sell votes, impersonate voters, alter ballots or tallies, tamper with ballot boxes, or mark ballots for voters without consent.
