There has been no improvement in the air quality in Delhi-NCR, and it continues to remain in the 'very poor' category. The Air Quality Index (AQI) at Akshardham and Anand Vihar, and nearby areas, was recorded at 392 as a layer of haze lingers in the air.
The AQI around ITO was recorded at 347 in the 'very poor' category, as per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
The AQI in areas around AIIMS was 297, categorised as 'Poor' by the CPCB.
To mitigate pollution, water was being sprinkled with the help of an NDMC (New Delhi Municipal Council) vehicle in the area around Lodhi Road. As a result, the AQI around the area is 153, categorised as 'Moderate'.
