STIRLING – The very first “Festival of Trees” was held at Farmtown Park in 2008 and returned by popular demand in 2013 and with the exception of two requisite ‘dark years’ due to COVID-19 it has been an annual event ever since. “We change the theme each and every year,” explained Farmtown Park, Manager, Margaret Grotek, “which undoubtedly inspires our volunteers with fresh ideas as they work to trim the trees and create the many eye-catching displays that will decorate Heritage Village.”

For the uninitiated, Heritage Village is the picturesque streetscape – a perfectly detailed, life-size reproduction of a small town’s Main Street from a hundred years ago – and is just one of nine such remarkable buildings in the impressive museum complex that sits at the south end of the Stirling Fairgro
