On Tuesday at 10 a.m. a high wind watch was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Wednesday 10 p.m. until Thursday 8 a.m. for Northern Worcester and Southern Worcester as well as Franklin, Middlesex, Essex, Hampshire, Hampden, Norfolk, Suffolk, Bristol and Plymouth counties.
The weather service adds, "West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph possible."
"Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and some power outages may result," explains the weather service. "Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.
