BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. —

Four people have been charged in connection to an armed robbery at a grocery store.

The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office said the robbery happened Oct. 20 at the Ingles on Sand Hill Road in the Candler community.

During the investigation, detectives executed two search warrants that led to the seizure of several firearms and narcotics.

At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies charged the following people:

Elijah Ray Alexander Famiglietti, 19, of Candler, charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit a felony, and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Carter Pittman, 17, has also been arrested and charged as an adult with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit a felony.
