GASTON, S.C. —
A Gaston, South Carolina, man was arrested on charges related to AI-generated child sexual abuse material, marking one of the first cases under a new state law.
Investigators say Adam Asad Kelton, 25, possessed files of artificial intelligence-generated child sexual abuse material.
Kelton was arrested on Oct. 30 and is charged with two counts of possession of a visual depiction or representation of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct, activity, or nudity.
