ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves made Walt Weiss available to reporters Tuesday in an introductory press conference, after announcing he will be the team's next manager on Monday night.

Weiss' family was on hand, as was Brian Snitker and Chipper Jones.
Weiss is being elevated to the manager's role after spending the past eight seasons as a bench coach with the Braves. He is the 49th manager in club history.
