Milan[Italy]: Motorcycle maker Royal Enfield, part of the Eicher Motors Group, will begin the global commercial roll-out of its electric bikes under the Flying Flea brand from next year, company CEO B Govindarajan said on Tuesday.
Speaking on the sidelines of the global two-wheeler exhibition EICMA in Milan, Govindarajan said the company aims to gradually build the electric motorcycle market and expand the category over time.
“We will be into the market in 2026, first starting with Flying Flea C6, followed by Flying Flea S6,” he told PTI.
The company showcased its second electric model, the Flying Flea S6, at the event. Royal Enfield has been developing its EV lineup for global markets, focusing on combining the brand’s signature design and heritage with new-age electric technology.
