Gov. Wes Moore on Monday announced the release of $62 million in state funding to ensure Marylanders receive their full Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits for November, as the ongoing federal government shutdown continues to threaten food aid.
The funds, authorized by executive order, will cover the portion of benefits the Trump administration refused to release despite a federal court order.
