VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A fire heavily damaged a car dealership on North Witchduck Road on Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported at 9:42 a.m. at the Americar in the 600 block of North Witchduck Road. Fire crews arrived four minutes later to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the building.

One person was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

The fire was marked under control at 10:33 a.m. and marked out at 12:14 p.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
