WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Woonsocket police say a man killed two people before taking his own life Monday night.
Officers were called to a home on Rathbun Street around 6:45 p.m. and found three gunshot victims. They were identified by police Tuesday as Kimberly Pieranunzi, 40, Donald Roderick Jr., 45, and Sean Rivera, 24.
According to police, Rivera and Pieranunzi's 19-year-old daughter were "discussing their strained relationship" when he allegedly pulled out a gun and threatened her. The daughter told police Rivera assaulted her and she ran to her mother's room, where Rivera shot Pieranunzi multiple times, police said.
The 19-year-old managed to escape and call police from a nearby business.
At that point, Roderick got home from work, and police said Rivera shot him before shooting
