Nearly two months after her ill-received comments about Charlie Kirk following his shocking assassination, Kristen Chenoweth is ready to share how the situation impacted her.

During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Chenoweth spoke about the situation, noting the backlash nearly broke her.

“It was tough on me,” she admitted. “But I’m not going to answer any questions about it because I dealt with it. It nearly broke me, and that’s all I’m going to say. You probably know my heart, so you probably know.”
