LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The man convicted of killing Bardstown mom Crystal Rogers has been moved to another jail.
Brooks Houck, Rogers’ ex-boyfriend, was convicted of murder (principle or accomplice) and tampering with physical evidence earlier this year.
He was being held in the Oldham County Detention Center after receiving a life sentence for his charges in September.
On Tuesday, court records show Houck was moved to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Ky., which is roughly three hours east of Bardstown.
The detention center is not expected to be Houck's final stop. He will eventually be assigned to a state prison to serve out his life sentence in Rogers' case.
