SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — San Angelo's City Council has approved of an agreement between the City and the San Angelo Police Coalition of Police which would increase the police offers benefits and move some potions around.

During the City Council meeting a slide show was shown that stated that in October of 2024, the City and the San Angelo Police Coalition of Police entered a "Meet and Confer Agreement" that expires Dec. 31, 2025. It also stated that negotiations between the two parties for another agreement has concluded.

The new terms they agreed upon to help them retain officers is listed below: • 5% pay increase for police officers. • Inclusion of counting vacation leave, emergency leave, WOW days and United Way days as regular hours worked for the purpose of c
