HOUSTON — Hobby Airport issued another ground stop late Tuesday afternoon because of staffing shortages. It ends at 6 p.m., while a ground delay continues until 9 p.m.

Houston Airports reports an average delay at Hobby of 47 minutes.

TSA wait times improve at Hobby, Bush

Meanwhile, security lines were moving faster at both Houston’s airports today, but officials warn that conditions can change at any time as the federal government shutdown continues.

According to Houston Airports, Tuesday’s average TSA wait times were:

25 minutes at Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) Terminal E

15 minutes at IAH Terminal A

10 minutes at Hobby Airport (HOU)
