BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Trial got underway on Tuesday for a man accused of murdering two people in Chittenden County in October 2002.

Police said Denroy Dasent shot and killed Sheikhnoor Osman at an apartment complex in Burlington, and then, in a separate murder on the same day, killed Brian Billings at the Swiss Host Motel in South Burlington.
