ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI — Police have identified the drivers of two vehicles that crashed on U.S. 131 after one of the drivers traveled the wrong way on the highway.

The crash happened in the early morning of Sunday, Nov. 2, killing four people and seriously injuring two others, the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office said.

The driver of the wrong-way Subaru Legacy was Erin Louise Jones, a 38-year-old Grand Rapids woman, the sheriff’s office said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Ford Fusion that was struck is identified as Emmanuel Browning, an 18-year-old Kalamazoo man. He was also pronounced dead as well as the front-seat passenger, another 18-year-old man, police said.

The Ford Fusion was traveling in the correct direction, police said.
