ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI – Two people have died after a two-vehicle crash on Monday, Nov. 3, just outside of the City of Allegan.
The victims are a 43-year-old Allegan man and a 19-year-old Grand Rapids man, state police said.
Their names were not released.
Preliminary investigation showed that a car driven by the Grand Rapids man was headed east on 134 th when he ran through a stop sign and struck a pickup truck going north on 30 th Street in Allegan County’s Monterey Township.
The Allegan man was taken to University of Michigan Health – West where he was pronounced dead.
The pickup driver, a 43-year-old Allegan man, died at University of Michigan Health-West Hospital. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
