OSCODA – Three matches. Three victories. The Oscoda volleyball team closed out the regular season on a positive note last week, as they won all three of their matches at a quad meet at Mancelona on Monday, Oct. 27.

The Lady Owls topped Mesick 25-12, 11-25 and 25-22, while sweeping both East Jordan 25-22, 25-16 and Mancelona 26-24 and 25-21.

“We started off the night against Mesick, playing really well,” head coach Melissa Curley said. “Our passers did a great job, Emma Michaud placed her sets well and we were able to take some great swings. In game two, we played very laid back and Mesick took full advantage, but we stepped it up in game three to get the win.”
