AUBURN — The soundtrack for Auburn football 's pre-practice stretching was a sign of recent changes.
The Christian rock music that usually blared out from the Woltosz Football Performance Center's indoor facility was no more. Instead, bass bumped, as did ad-libs between lyrics. The song, titled "AHHH HA," was by rapper Lil Durk.
It was fitting for the start of the program's new, but likely brief era under defensive coordinator DJ Durkin , who was elevated to interim head coach on Sunday, Nov. 2, with the firing of Hugh Freeze . The public viewing window Tuesday, Nov. 4, for the Tigers' first week of practice under Durkin, was largely business as usual.
