Part of Middle Valley Road will be closed this week for utility work.

The Hamilton County Mayor’s Office said Middle Valley Road will be closed between Gann Road and Thrasher Pike two times on Thursday, November 6.

The road will close from 9:00am to 2:00pm and then a second time from 7:00pm to 2:00am.

Traffic will be detoured along Thrasher Pike, N. Dent Road, and Gann Road.

Residents who live in the area of the closure will be allowed to go to and from their homes.

Drivers are asked to plan alternate routes, expect minor delays, and use caution when driving in the area.
