A 34-year-old man was arrested Sunday after admitting to breaching through a security door, grabbing a car without authorization, and driving in a restricted area at the Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), according to his arrest report.
On Saturday, an officer with the Jacksonville Aviation Authority was dispatched to a door that had been forced, which had triggered the alarm.
According to the arrest report, surveillance video showed the man forcing the door to the restricted area and entering the ramp. He then entered a JIA-designated ramp vehicle and drove to Concourse C, where aircrafts taxi and park.
The man then parked and exited the vehicle, and then tried to enter several Concourse C gates, officials said.
According to the report, the man was seen at the top of the stairs
